MAC TiNO's FAVORITE R&B/SOUL SONGS BY WHITE GUYS

This post is dedicated to the white guys out there who sing with SOUL!!! These are some of my all time favs and they should be yours too, I'm bustin out the classics for you NCV fans so come along and sing with your favorite white boys. I'm gonna do this in sort of a chronological order so that you can trace where these white boys found there soul inspiration.

Righteous Brothers

Unchained Melody

The Righteous Brothers created one of the greatest love songs ever in the 60's and was later popularized by the movie Ghost in the 80's.

BOBBY CALDWELL!!!

Open Your Eyes

My Flame

What You Won't Do For Love

What does Hip-Hop and Bobby Caldwell have in common? They sampled his songs to make some of the best hip-hop songs, Common's The Light sampled Open Your Eyes, Notorious B.I.G. sampled My Flame for Sky's The Limit, and 2pac sampled What You Won't Do For Love for Due For Love. Bobby Caldwell = TIMELESS CLASSICS

Hall & Oates

I Can't Go For That

If you don't think Hall & Oates are the shit you must be crazy, they are really talented artist that can go from smooth soul shit to some catchy pop shit. I Can't Go For That is another hip-hop sample used for De La Soul's Say No Go song.

New Kids On The Block

Please Don't Go Girl

I'm not ashamed to admit that I was a NKOTB fan...Please Don't Go Girl will forever be the greatest teenie bopper song ever!

JON B!!!

Someone To Love

They Don't Know

Are You Still Down ft. 2pac

If you work with Babyface you better have some soul! That's exactly what Babyface saw in Jon B, he saw past the skin color and heard someone with some nice vocals. My personal fav Jon B song is Are You Still Down with the late great 2pac, the song is smooth as hell and Jon B kills it on the hook.

311!!!

Amber

Love Song

Im ending the post with one of my favorite bands 311, when they first came out they were on the punk alternative tip but have transformed into a melodic band. Amber and Love Song both have a natural soulful vibe to them both, really beautiful music. Thanks again for checking out the post and proving to you that white guys do have soul.
